Teachers at Little Dancers
Our team are all highly qualified teachers and professional dancers who have a passion for dance and teaching others to dance. In addition to being highly accomplished in their fields, they are also energetic, positive and caring people.
Alex Edwards
Principal
Alex graduated from the highly acclaimed Northern Ballet School in 2008 with a National Diploma in Dance. Alex also holds a PDT Diploma from the RAD and a DDE in Modern and Tap Dance from the ISTD. She has spent time working in a number of productions including Fame, and Sunday Night Live at her Majesty's Theatre.
Miss Alex joined the Little Dancers team nearly 8 years ago and is now the Principal of the school. Teaching our ballet, modern, tap and contemporary classes as well as managing our performing and competition teams Miss Alex wants to pass on her passion and love for the arts to all students at Little Dancers.
Ellie Adlard
Teacher
Ellie graduated from the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts in 2017 with a 1st class Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre, she also holds qualifications with the New York Film Academy in Acting for Films and a DDI with the ISTD in Modern and Tap. Ellie is a Professional Dancer recently returning from performing in the 'Stars on Parade' and 'Tuesday Guest Star' shows at Disneyland Paris. Amongst other credits she appeared as a dancer in 'Follies - Solange La Fitte' and the feature film 'Love Ratri'. Ellie recently joined the Little Dancers team and is teaching our popular Musical Theatre and Street Jazz classes as well as choreographing for our biannual shows.
